Lepaa winery
More than a
hundred years of fruit and berry wine making tradition
Finnish communion wines were produced in the early 20th century in Lepaa. Production ended in with prohibition in 1936, when all production and sales of alcoholic beverages came under the control of Alko.
Joining the European Union in 1995 made possible the small-scale production and sale of fruit and berry wines, liqueurs and distillates. Lepaa was one of the first wineries to be licensed in early 1995.
